For groups larger than 25 students, they will be split into 2 groups and will exercise for 30 minutes each.
R1 – Read closely to determine what the text says explicitly and to make logical inferences from it; cite specific textual evidence when writing or speaking to support conclusions drawn from the text. W7 – Conduct short research projects based on focused questions, demonstrating understanding of the subject under investigation. SL1 – Prepare for and participate effectively in a range of conversations and collaborations with diverse partners, building on others’ ideas and expressing their own clearly and persuasively.
MS1 – Apply competent motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activities (in our case, students will be engaged in activities that develop basic levels of strength, endurance and flexibility). MC2 – Understand concepts, principles, strategies and tactics that apply to the learning and performance of movement (in our case, students will use the concepts of the straight and zigzag pathways and the forward and sideways directions). PR4 – Use behavioral strategies that are responsible and enhance respect of self and others and value activity (in our case, students will be able to work safely as individuals and within groups without pushing or shoving, by waiting his or her turn, by following directions and by listening).
