Photography & Literacy (Grades 3-12)

Program description
DId you know that the word photograph actually means "to write with light?" Students will gain an understanding of how photographers communicate thier ideas through the art of visual storytelling. This program can be customized to suit the needs of each classroom. Program length will vary based on the goals outlined for the program. Two class meetings per group is recommended.

Your facility
Program price will vary based on the vision for the final product and exhibition, number of students impacted, time needed to complete the project and materials required. For example, a simple one-visit program with basic materials will cost $250 on average. A more complex, multiple-visit program will cost $300+. Please contact me today with information on what you want to achieve and I will return a quote to you within three business days.
Fee outline:
$250 – Base fee for program development and implementation of one class visit
$120-$135 – Add-on fee per class to replicate the program for multiple classes
$40 – Average material fee per class (if materials are required)

Cancellation Policy
A minimum fee of $100 will be charged for a program cancellation. If supplies were purchased in preparation for the program, the school will be required to reimburse Black Bird Studio.
