Program Detail
Winter: Feb. 7-9, 11, Feb. 28-Mar. 4, Mar. 7-11, Mar. 14-18
Spring: Apr. 4-8, Apr. 21-22, Apr. 25-27
Between 9 AM and 5 PM.
We will need a gym, stage, recreation room or cafeteria with a floor surface of wood, tile or carpet.
Our production team will bring our own flooring and sound equipment. Access to the space is needed 60-90 minutes in advance of the performance.
School or Public Venue.
EDUCATION STANDARDS
In English Language Arts Reading Literature (RL) we focus on the Craft and Structure (RL4, RL5, RL6) and the Integration of Knowledge and Ideas (RL7, RL8 and RL9). In Math we focus on Geometry (G) and Measurement and Data (MD).
From the Arts Education, Dance Standards:
Creation and Performance: CP.2 Students will understand how performance values are used (kinesthetic awareness, concentration, focus and etiquette) to enhance dance performance.
Responding: R.1 Students will use a variety of thinking skills to analyze and evaluate dance.
Connecting: C.1 Students will understand cultural, historical and interdisciplinary connections with dance.
