Program description

Experience an introduction to Charlotte’s Black History with an in depth 45 to 60-minute guided tour of our facility and our current exhibitions. Students and educators can experience a deeper connection with the exhibits by completing a thematic exercise or a scavenger hunt during their tour.

Fees / Ticketing:

Guided Group Tours are available for groups of 10 or more students at a rate of three dollars ($3) per students. 1 chaperone per 10 students. Chaperones are admitted at no cost.

Please contact Guest Services at least 24 hours in advance to cancel your tour. 

Please note, if your group arrives more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled guided tour, they may have an abbreviated tour or experience the Center via a self-guided tour.

Pre-paid groups that cancel will be given an opportunity to reschedule their tour.
