KINETICWORKShops are a professional development opportunity that will have your teachers dancing through the hallways.

Multipurpose room or classroom free of furniture so participants and move about freely. 1 Table for materials and several chairs needed for those who can’t sit on the floor.
Schools, Community Centers, Libraries
2 hours $500. 3 hours. $600. 4 hours $800.

EDUCATION STANDARDS
R7 – Integrate and evaluate content in diverse media and formats, including visually and quantitatively, as well as in words. L3 – Apply knowledge of language to understand how language functions in different contexts, to make effective choices for meaning or style, and to comprehend more fully when reading or listening. L6 – Acquire and use accurately a range of general academic and domain specific words and phrases sufficient for reading, writing, speaking, and listening at the college and career readiness level; demonstrate independent in gathering vocabulary knowledge when encountering an unknown term important to comprehension or expression.
From the Arts Education, Dance K-8 Standards (all grade levels): CP.1 – Use choreographic principles, structures, and processes to create dances that communicate ideas, experiences, feelings, and images. CP.2 – Understand how to use performance values (kinesthetic awareness, concentration, focus, and etiquette) to enhance dance performance. DM.1 – Understand how to use movement skills in dance.
