African American Art & Identity
Explore how African American artists search for identity, reclaim their heritage, and express values and issues fundamental to their time. Students will analyze and interpret African American artwork with regard for the social and political contexts in which the art was created.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays during the academic year.
Program start/end times flexible: between 10:00am and 3:00pm.
Schools responsible for transportation to and from the museum. Bilingual Spanish tours are available upon request.

Written cancellation for the program must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org and received no later than 10 days prior to the start of the program. If the program is cancelled after the 10 day deadline, a cancellation fee of $50 will be required.
