Mint Museum Tour- African American Art & Identity

Program Description
Students will explore how African American artists search for identity, reclaim their heritage, and express values and issues fundamental to their respective time. Students will analyze and interpret African American works of art and consider the social and political contexts in which they were created.
Recommended for grades 3-12, this tour integrates the Common Core Standards for English
