A young boy is lost at sea and found by a baboon on a far away island. He is raised by a circus of misfits. EDUCATION STANDARDS
R1 – Read closely to determine what the text says explicitly and to make logical inferences from it; cite specific textual evidence when writing or speaking to support conclusions drawn from the text. (Audience members read text and view animation as the storyteller tells story and interacts with the audience.Then audience members are asked to describe events and explain plot.)
R3 – Analyze how and why individuals, events, and ideas develop and interact over the course of a text. (Audience members must trace and identify key character’s growth and development to understand the plot.)
R7 – Integrate and evaluate content presented in diverse media and formats, including visually and quantitatively, as well as in words.* (During the performance animation and text is presented on a large video screen for the students to read.)

Cancellation Policy
Because The Story Ship’s acceptance of a performance agreement may cause it to turn down other work, the parties agree that if for any reason the services are canceled by the Presenter, Presenter must reschedule the event at the Presenter’s and Story Ship’s earliest convenience or pay 100% of the agreed fees
