Character Education Show
Come along with Pirate Goodie Twoshoes and his parrot Pete on an amazing undersea adventure. Goodie can’t remember how to open his magic chest full of treasure. So he calls upon the audience and his animated friends to help. Each character exhibits major character flaws and Goodie helps to identify them and find ways to correct behavoir.

EDUCATION STANDARDS
R1 – Read closely to determine what the text says explicitly and to make logical inferences from it; cite specific textual evidence when writing or speaking to support conclusions drawn from the text. (Audience members read text and view animation of specific character flawas as the storyteller tells story and interacts with the audience. Then audience members are asked to describe events character flaws and how they might employ key character concepts in real life applications.)
R3 – Analyze how and why individuals, events, and ideas develop and interact over the course of a text. (Audience members must trace and identify key character’s growth and development to understand key character concepts.)
R7 – Integrate and evaluate content presented in diverse media and formats, including visually and quantitatively, as well as in words.* (During the performance animation and text is presented on a large video screen for the students to read.)

Cancellation Policy
Because The Story Ship’s acceptance of a performance agreement may cause it to turn down other work, the parties agree that if for any reason the services are canceled by the Presenter, Presenter must pay 100% of performers fees and reschedule the event at the Presenter’s and Story Ship’s earliest convenience. If no dates are compatible then the school will pay 100% of the agreed fees.
