Caroline Calouche & Co. was established in 2005 and has grown exponentially in their formative years. In 2006 began blending aerial dance with their athletic contemporary dance style. In our full length shows, CC&Co. incorporates apparatus such as silks, trapeze, bungee, lyra and uniquely designed apparatus such as an aerial cube and cargo net. The company has a reputation for presenting innovative, entertaining and thought-provoking work. This also flows over into their educational work where collaboration and creativity are the key goals.
The Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center is the school of Caroline Calouche & Co. CC&DC programs will support your aspirations whether they be professional or an adventurous hobbyist. The focus in all our educational programs is to develop grit, collabortion, community and creativity.

‘Building Community Through Circus Arts’ will show how circus arts can promote community and collaborative problem solving. We can use aerial silks, trapeze or partner acrobatics to unite students. By the end of every class, students are celebrating each other’s successes and have either created bridges or strengthened their connections to each other.
