NASCAR Hall of Fame provides educational field trips which are aligned and support curriculum standards through using PBL (Project-based learning) techniques for students to apply real-world examples and discovery through the world of NASCAR.

STREAM based educational approach guides students through exploring how science, language arts, creative arts, math, active and informational reading combine.  In addition to hands-on classes with educational staff.  Students have a chance to utilize technological activities throughout the museum to learn more and try their hands at NASCAR jobs and positions.

The average recommended field trip: 3 hours.

Field Trips (Pre-K) Before/During and After-School

Program description

Join us for a 60-minute pre-K program where students can explore different aspects of racing through two different programs.  The program elements and activities keep students engaged from beginning to end – changing every 15 minutes.   Each program provides hands-on experiences while building off the fundamental teaching skills and strategies for pre-K students.   Engineering and building, game play, and disciplinary re-enforcement of key learning skills such as shapes, numbers, colors.  Students also have work on their character development skill such as working as a team and collaborating.

Racing to Victory Lane:

Students will participate in a series of six learning activities including comparison and difference; number and color recognition/meaning; drawing in 2-D; large motor and small motor skills through a driving experience and visual observations.

Fast as Lightning: Explore the world of racing through the world of“Cars 3.” Students will participate in a fitness challenge, explore different tracks and surfaces, discover the real person behind one of the characters, and have a chance to build a car. There will also be a special visit with a character from the movie.

Pricing for groups over 15 individuals: $9.95 plus tax for Students. Chaperones are FREE for the required ratio: One chaperone for every 10 students. Additional chaperones will pay standard admission price – $15.95 plus tax

Changes to reservations need to be made at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellation notice of 10 days is required for a full refund. Cancellations with less than 10 days notice are non-refundable but may be rescheduled within a 12-month period.
