Tom Pierce studied Children’s Theater and mime at Florida State University. He is a professional mime, actor and story teller, and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild. He has toured nationally and internationally for over 25 years. Tom has performed his educational programs and workshops in schools, colleges, theaters, and festivals in England, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Cuba, Mexico, the Philippines and the U. S.

Program description

“Character That Counts” (K-8) This performance/teaching program uses mime drama, humor, and an abundance of audience participation. Dr. Tom and the students examine how good character promotes high moral standards.  This program defines and encourages values such as Self-Control, Perseverance, Honesty, Kindness, and Courage.
