Inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe and her large scale flower paintings, students use watercolor pencils and paints to create their own large scale flower. Enlarged photographs of flowers, and/ or fresh flowers are studied and used as a springboard for the students work. Flower paintings may be an individual piece of art to be taken home or displayed, or they may be incorporated into a large scale installation. Additional steps needed for installation assemblage.
