Students utilize recycled materials and paper mache to create three dimensional animals. Teachers choose the direction of the project to tie into their classroom lesson plan. The animals can be from different regions of the world: Arctic Polar Bear, African Giraffe, Amazon Snake. Students then research their chosen animal, and create a habitat painting for their animal. Each animal can serve as a writing prompt to draw out Adjectives and Descriptive Writing, or they can Compare and Contrast the animals and their regions.
