Donna Washington is a professional author, storyteller and multicultural folklorist who has been sharing stories for over twenty-six years. Her amazing vocal pyrotechnics and dynamic physicality make her stories come alive and enthrall and delight audiences from four to one hundred and four. She has been featured at numerous festivals, schools & libraries theaters and other venues around the world including Argentina, Canada, Hong Kong, Peru, South Korea, Taiwan and all over the United States.

She is a multiple-award winning artist with nine CDs and is an accomplished author of four children’s books. She has won Stortyelling Wold Awards, Parents’ Choice Gold & Silver Awards, Children’s Music Web Awards and  NAPPA Awards.

Donna presents a wide variety of tales from many different cultures. She offers a range of multicultural folktales, personal narratives and stories of her own creation. Her school shows are grade specific and are targeted to students based on their age & cognitive & emotional development.

Recommended shows are grades K-2nd , 3-5th , 6th, 7-8th, 9-10th and 11-12th
