The Original Curiosity Camp

The Original Curiosity Camp

Miss Ava, locally known as “The Science Lady”, founded the Original Curiosity Camp on June 14, 1993. She has presented hands on science programs to over 100,000 children in local schools and organizations. Each program is designed to enhance the child’s education through discovery learning and experimentation. The motto of The Original Curiosity Camp is “Satisfying a child’s Curiosity is like trying to catch a comet.” Time honored favorites include Ooze, Glop, & Slime, Fossil Fun, Stomp Rockets, Invisible Forces, and ZAP! Electricity.
