The Bee Lady – OUR WORLD OF POLLINATORS
There is a “Buzz” all around the planet. There is much concern about our pollinators, but many do not know the role that pollinators play.
Many children today live only in an “inside” world. They do not have opportunity to go outside into nature. Children love to hear about nature. They love to get involved with the “outside” world.
Our future farmers and beekeepers are our children!
Gladys Hutson is “The Bee Lady” – programs that teach children and adults about “Our World of Pollinators”. These programs teach how gardening and pollinators work together in producing our foods, seeds and future plant life. That without both of these working together, many species of plants and life form will not survive.

The third in the series of “The Wonderful World of Pollinators” Pollinators, Plants & People
Students will learn what plants can be grown and what pollinator that plant will bring to the garden. This one hour presentation will inspire students to plant for our pollinators and learn what flowers the bees and pollinators love.
This program includes instructions on how to create a small pollinator garden that can be made in your own yard through direct planting or making seed bombs. It will enabling the student to go out to enjoy bees and butterflies doing the work of pollination in their own yard. Includes seeds and easy instruction on how to make a seed bomb.

Program may be presented in the classroom if under 50 students. If more than 50 students, an auditorium, cafeteria or school gym would be a better fit.

If canceling within 2 weeks prior to the program, school will be responsible for the full payment if program is not rescheduled.
