Artisan Preparatory

Artisan Preparatory renders creative learning that is engaging, fun and sustainable. Our hands-on curriculum PREPARES each ARTISAN with a ingenious foundation that enriches future educational opportunities.  We believe that artistry is gifted to every student, it is our aspiration to to Capture, Canvas and Cultivate this gift.  Our multidisciplinary programs are flexible in design and attractive to students ranging from birth to seniors, in the indoor and outdoor classrooms. We love to weave STEM, Literature and culture together and make beautiful art.

Artisan Preparatory has served at Montessori, public, private, charter and home schools for the past 20 years in North Carolina, Tennesee, Kentucky, Indiana and Alabama.  Our curriculum is crafted to serve all classrooms.  If you need help designing an enhanced program, please contact our program lead.  We hope to inspire the Artisans at your school in the near future.

Weeds to Writing

Program description

Students learn about transitions in their lifestyle, then learn about the transition of plant life to paper. They study plant life and the process of paper making. They then journal on their newly made paper about a transition in their life. Transitions could be a geographic move, transitioning to high school, a divorce or any topic students want to journal about.

Each student needs a 2 foot table space. This project requires access to water and electrical.

All cancellations should be made within two 2 weeks of the scheduled event.  A cancellation fee of $250 will be charged per session.
