Our multidisciplinary programs are flexible in design and attractive to students ranging from birth to seniors, in the indoor and outdoor classrooms. Artisan Preparatory has served at Montessori, public, private, charter and home schools for the past 20 years in North Carolina, Tennesee, Kentucky, Indiana and Alabama. In this residency, students learn about different kinds of dyes that can be used in artwork. Students use ready made dyes, they also make their own dye out of natural resources. Natural dyes provide a scientific and historical curriculum. This residency also has an African American cultural option.

Educational facility. There is a $50 trip fee outside of Mecklenburg County.
$495 for a one-day residency. This price includes three 45-minute sessions a day.

Above fees cover watercolor, marker, painting or wire sculpture illustration sessions. There is a $50 surcharge for ceramic classes.

Students listened to lesson and produce dyed art. They present their finished work to classmates in the form of critiques.

All cancellations should be made within two 2 weeks of the scheduled event. A cancellation fee of $250 will be charged per session.
