Past, Present, Future AR Workshop

Program description

Join us for an exciting class where you’ll learn how to harness the power of AR technology to bring a dynamic component of our new mural, “Past, Present, Future,” to life. This stunning mural by Abel Jackson is a tribute to the iconic figures who have left a remarkable impact on the Charlotte community and beyond.

During the workshop, you’ll dive into the realm of AR and explore the limitless possibilities it offers for artistic expression. With hands-on guidance, you’ll learn how to use AR software, 3D models, and animation tools to animate elements of the mural, creating an interactive and immersive experience for you and your peers.

Discover historical events, iconic figures, and their invaluable contributions as you explore the intersection of art, technology, and storytelling. This class is an opportunity to celebrate the individuals who have propelled progress and transformed our world.
