NOTE: We are developing versions of several residency options in video form and can also provide live residencies via ZOOM directly to your school from our home studio. School hours
Multipurpose room or classroom free of furniture where students can spread out and move.
Schools, community centers, etc.
1-Week KINETIKids Artist Residencies. Live in person or via ZOOM
(One grade level of 4 classes/5 days or 5 classes/4 days)
One week $1000
Video residency: 5 prerecorded lessons delivered via youtube link. You select curriculum focus and grade level (Math, Science, Lang. Arts or Multicultural $350

EDUCATION STANDARDS
R7 – Integrate and evaluate content in diverse media and formats, including visually and quantitatively, as well as in words. L3 – Apply knowledge of language to understand how language functions in different contexts, to make effective choices for meaning or style, and to comprehend more fully when reading or listening. L6 – Acquire and use accurately a range of general academic and domain specific words and phrases sufficient for reading, writing, speaking, and listening at the college and career readiness level; demonstrate independent in gathering vocabulary knowledge when encountering an unknown term important to comprehension or expression.
From the Arts Education, Dance K-8 Standards (all grade levels): CP.1 – Use choreographic principles, structures, and processes to create dances that communicate ideas, experiences, feelings, and images. CP.2 – Understand how to use performance values (kinesthetic awareness, concentration, focus, and etiquette) to enhance dance performance. DM.1 – Understand how to use movement skills in dance.
